Jeff Koons use of unlikely subjects from popular culture is evident throughout my work.

The concept of taking a mass-produced object and presenting it in a different context, namely the studio or exhibition space, invites the viewer to question the perspective of domestic life. Using this method, I was able to utilise available objects as metaphors for questioning the between of motherhood, artist and individual as can be seen in works such as ‘Mammary’ and ‘Feeder’.
