Used to blur the lines in hierarchy of culture in the mid 50’s to late 70’s. In my practice pop art represents a metaphor for the blurred lines of tradition and equality using parenthood as the viewing point. For challenging traditions and its use of mundane mass produce objects this movement is the most obvious narrative to my project.
